Welcome to A Cause For Adventure!

Celebrating our very first post, Josh will be heading north. First to Southern Idaho, the Bench Hut in the Sawtooth Range specifically, to posse up with a rowdy group of skiers and riders hailing from North Lake Tahoe. It’s my second annual trip with this group of very seasoned, talented, and highly knowledgeable ex pro’s, mountain guides, ski film makers, and all around heavy hitters. The 14 of us will have the luxury of getting our supplies brought in via snow machine while we skin the five miles to the hut that will be at maximum stinky skier capacity. Breakfasts and dinners will be prepared for us allowing us to focus on skiing, skiing, apres skiing, and more skiing.

After four days at the Bench Hut, I will meet up with my “brotha’ from anotha’,” Shaggy Thompson. We will head east to the mightiest American ski resort of them all, Jackson Hole. We will have the pleasure of reuniting with an old Tahoe buddy by the name of Cale Jardine who resides there. Tapping into Cale’s local knowledge of Jackson Hole and Grand Targhee for a few days will be an adventure all on its own.

After that, it’s either a quick shot to Montana for some Bridger Bowl or Big Sky action, or back to Sun Valley, Idaho to meet up with another old school Tahoe charger. Then maybe some heli skiing in Utah or Nevada, the mountains will be their proverbial oyster.

Wherever the next leg takes us, it’s bound to be full of deep snow and good times.
Tune in for updates as the trip progresses!
